How to get there
- Over the NAVALMORAL DE LA MATA exit take the motorway to Plasencia on the left at the km 185.
- In a few kilometers there is an exit on the right hand side: JARAIZ DE LA VERA. Take the regional road (quite bad) that takes you to a cross where you should take the left direction JARAIZ. Enter in the village and be attent because you can't see it well: you will have to take a [sharp/pronounced] exit on the right with direction CUACOS and JARANDILLA.
- At 2 kms, finally, there is an INDICATION on the left hand side that says EL LAGO.
- Cross the road until the narrow pass of PEDRO CHATE.
- Cross the bridge and ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE there is an entrance with a balck door. Albergue el Lago.
Transport
By plane
Those children who arrive to Madrid airport should contact the office so as to know the name of the responsible who will go to pick them up and the time of arrival. It is essential to fill in the authorization form for the travel. These children will be taken by car or bus directly to the camp. The instructors will take care of them (and also about giving them something to eat if it is necessary).
Car
We advise against to take the children to the camp by car. The reason is simple: the immense majority goes by bus from Madrid and there is where the camp really starts. If you take him by car due to the proximity of the camp, please fill in the travel authorization form and contact with the office so as to know the time of arrival to the Camp, and also the time when you will come to pick your child up.
